On the 16th of July 2021, the West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF) convened a workshop with the theme STRENGTHENING CSOs ENGAGEMENT WITH THE ECOWAS.
The workshop took place in Accra, the capital city of Ghana with a focus on orgnizations from Ghana. WACSOF presented itself and what the organization stands for currently, this was spear headed by the General Secretary of WACSOF, Komlan Messie.
A presentation on WACSOF's guideline on CSO thematic groups was also delivered by Jemimah Eitokpah.
Organizations present stated their expectations on available platforms and means of thematic group engagement with ECOWAS.
The workshop was rounded up once again by closing remarks from the General Secreatary of WACSOF.

A presentation on WACSOF's guideline on CSO thematic groups was also delivered by Henri-Paul.
Following presentations, participants were grouped according to their thematic groups to document, share their national legal framework and discuss expectations on thematic group organisation for engagement with ECOWAS.
The workshop was rounded up once again by closing remarks from the General Secreatary of WACSOF.
